Conference update #4

It’s just a week until we kick off the 2022 ASEN/NISE Conference on Nationalism and Media with the Anthony D. Smith Lecture, given by Sabina Mihelj, at 1700 on April 4th. If you can’t make it for the lecture, you’re still welcome to join us for the reception afterwards from 1830 at Hof van Liere.

The conference proper starts on Tuesday morning at the Meerminne building and the schedule is up on our website.

There’ll be registration desks where you can pick up your badges at the lecture, the reception and, of course, at the conference itself.

If you are planning on coming to the conference dinner or on the guided tour of the Museum Plantin-Moretus, you need to sign up by Wednesday at the latest – there aren’t many spaces left, so don’t delay.

If you are presenting at a panel, your presentation should be of up to twenty minutes. If you are using a PowerPoint or similar, please bring it on a USB stick. There’ll be a Q&A session after all the papers on each panel have been presented.

In the meantime, do please get in touch if you have any queries.
